About the Pastor
Bob and Linda Henley have been ministering in Middlebury for almost 20 years. Bob is an industrial arts teacher at a local school, and has been bi-vocational for his whole ministry. They are natives of Maryland. Bob has a sailboat, and loves to spend time on the water. They have four children, and have reared several foster children as well.About the Church
Grace Baptist Church has been in existence for about 20 years and was constituted as a church in 1984. They own a building right on the town square in Middlebury, a beautiful little college town in western Vermont. It is unusual in the fact that there is a pizza restaurant in the basement, which helped the congregation to pay the bills through the years.The church has an effective ministry to students at Middlebury College, a very elite and liberal university. The church has ministered to students from three countries in Africa, two in Asia, two from the Caribbean, along with those from the U.S., in the past year. They have just completed a major upgrading of their facilities. Pastor Bob is the only pastor the church has had. Links
