Over the past five years, Pastor Jeff Kauffman's ministry has been that of establishing a "family-oriented" church, building a strong church through building strong families. The basis for this ministry model is that the home is the basic building block of the church and society. To accomplish this, he has developed and taught numerous fathering and child-rearing sessions and sermons.
The pastor and his wife, Carol, are raising seven children. They reside in Addison, Vermont. Carol Kauffman is very involved in the children's, music, and women's ministries at Hope.
Pastor Jeff was ordained in May 1990. He earned his Doctorate of Ministry degree from Slidell Baptist Seminary, Slidell, LA, in 2004.
Established in 1998 and welcomed into the association in 2004, this new congrgation is off to a great start. The church's purpose is "Building strong families on a sure foundation." Their mission statment is "To bring people to Jesus and membership in His family, develop them to Christ-like maturity, and equip them for their ministry in the church and life mission in order to magnify God's name."
