Barre Church Honors Graduates
The last weekend of May, the Faith Community Church of Barre celebrated as 9 of their students graduated from high school. Though only 7 were able to participate in the recognition ceremony, the church rejoiced over each one of them graduating. The students represented four different high schools. The students have excelled in sports, music, drama and academics during their high school career. The students shared what they will be doing after high school. Some are going away to college. Some will be attending local community colleges. One will be taking on-line college courses while continuing to work the job he already has. One will be leaving in two weeks for an extended stay in Thailand with his father. The church presented each of them a Bible in a modern version for them to study as they enter this next phase of their life. The church also held a luncheon afterwards for the families of the graduates.
