Daybreak Church Greens It Up!

A mission team from Texas joined with members and friends of Daybreak Community Church in Colchester to serve as the set up, tear down and clean up crew at the Vermont City Marathon. Dubbed the "Green Team," the group provided vital behind the scenes support to help the event run smoothly. Pastor Brent Devenny said, " I am convinced that serving is the way to many hearts and this also gives us an opportunity to make an invisible God visible for all to see." The local paper wrote a very favorable article about the church after the event. Daybreak Church has built a reputation in the community for being a "servant" church and has helped in a number of local events such as this. They are launching a new church start in St. Albans in July and plan to use similar events to draw attention to what God is doing in that new work.
