Montgomery Center Church Forms Men's Group

Community Baptist Church of Montgomery Center, VT has formed a new men's ministry. The theme for this new ministry is "Finding the Authentic Man." They meet once a month on a Saturday for breakfast and a discussion of how they can assist each other in being the man God's wants them to be. In February, the focus was on being accountable to each other. The scripture they used was Joshua 1:9 and they encouraged each other to be strong in Christ by being a spiritual leader in the home, in prayer, in Bible reading and in holding each other accountable. The men have paired up with each other to pray and hold each other accountable. Larry Weeks is the pastor of the church and is leading the men's group.
