Pastors and Wives Attend 2009 Retreat

A majority of the pastors and wives from the Green Mountain Baptist Association traveled to the small town of Whitefield in northern New Hampshire during the second weekend of September for the annual Pastors and Wives Encouragement Retreat. The retreat was held at the world famous Mountain View Grand Resort which recently went through a multi-million dollar renovation to restore it to it's historic grandeur. The retreat is sponsored by the Phil Waldrep Ministries and features great music, preaching and practical breakout sessions. Steve Gaines, pastor of Bellevue Baptist Church near Memphis, TN was the featured speaker. As the pastor of one of the largest Southern Baptist churches in America, he was a great encouragement to the pastors.
